this is just a small little passion project I created in order to promote and celebrate games that have a more feminine side to them. I grew up playing games like style savvy, barbie, and hamtaro and feel like games with that aesthetic and demographic aren't featured enough in the modern gaming-sphere. while this space is "traditionally feminine" with lots of pinks and purples and the games that are featured also have "traditionally feminine" ideals like fashion and cooking, please understand this is an extremely pro feminism, pro lgbt, and leftist space. the fact that these ideals are pushed onto young girls, is a conversation that is worth having and will be discussed here. however, I want to emphasize that enjoying pink things and enjoying fashion and wanting those things represented in gaming is something that I also feel very strongly about. I want this to be a space where femininity and hyper-femininity as aesthetics and interests can be celebrated without prejudice, while also considering the societal expectations that often fall onto women and the negative assumptions that fall onto men for enjoying this type of media. this is a space for anyone who loves these games, regardless of gender identity or background.

I will be sharing old games, new games, and games that haven't come out yet! nintendo consoles are what I mainly grew up with, so expect plenty of gameboy advance, ds, 3ds, gamecube, and wii discussions. in terms of newer games, I will mostly be discussing switch games and pc games released on steam. that said, I'd love to branch out and cover as many consoles and games as possible, these are just the gaming systems that I mostly use and they tend to inform my gaming knowledge. I am also very passionate about now defunct online virtual worlds and flash games, as they shaped early gaming experiences for so many people and I would like to do what I can to preserve their memories. if you would like to suggest any games to talk about, please feel free to send me a message!
